This is a dish my mom always makes for us. It is simple, easy to make, very nutritious and absolutely delicious. This is like those bars that are made with dry fruits and nuts… One can make so many versions of these. Over the next few weeks I plan to try out several versions and I will post recipes as I come up with them.
For this bar I used the following ingredients..
1 cup raw cashews
1 cup raw almonds
1 cup raw walnuts
3 cups of dates
The method of preparation is quite simple.
Pulse all the ingredients in a blender until it becomes powdery and fluffy.
Mix well with a fork.
With clean hands, take handfuls and shape into lime sized balls.
This should yield about 20-25 balls
This stores well in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.
Try these with a cup each of dates, raisins and figs, in place of 3 cups of dates.
