Yields about 24 oz
1 cup packed kale
1 medium vine ripe tomato
1 ripe avocado
1 1/2 cups fresh tangerine juice
Juice of 1 lemon (I used Meyer)
10 mint leaves
2 inch piece ginger (I prefer young ginger which is pink and barely has any fiber, regular ginger can also be used but make sure to grind in advance and strain out all the tough fiber)
(optional) If you are brave, you can add a small slice of jalapeno!
(optional) 1 tablespoon chia seeds (if you want an extra protien boost)
Blend all the ingredients in your blender. This yields 2 servings.
