The Fabulous Deborah Madison On Vegetarian Cooking

Deborah Madison‘s cookbooks are no stranger to anyone who loves food!

Her books have been celebrated and awarded the greatest honors that a cookbook can receive. IACP James Beard, name it and she’s gotten it!

She is also published is every prestigious magazine and newspaper and has been featured on some of the most prominent radio and television outlets.

Her recipes and food have a simplistic, yet elegant feature to them. They carry an aura of discipline and calm, and are a joy to prepare.

Connecting people to the food they eat, its source and its history, has long been my work, and writing is one way to reveal the deeper culture of food. My interests lay with issues of biodiversity, seasonal and local eating, farmers markets, small and mid-scale farming, farmers and ranchers, gardens and gardeners,” she says on her website.

Deborah Madison was invited to Google to talk about her vegetarianism, food and cooking. This is a longish talk no doubt, but one that will be very interesting to all who love to eat!
